Jerry A. Olsheski, Ph.D., CRC., LPC. is the director of the rehabilitation counseling program at Ohio University, the former director of Industrial Rehabilitation Services at the University of Cincinnati, and a former assistant director of the Ohio Industrial Commission.

He has published widely in the field of disability management and industrial rehabilitation. He is recognized as a leading authority on disability management and worksite rehabilitation programs. He is a former commissioner for the Certification of Disability Management Specialists Commission.

He pioneered the first transitional work return programs in Ohio. He has consulted with many employers and labor unions on disability management, transitional work return programs and job accommodation.

He is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor. He received his masters and doctoral degrees in rehabilitation at The Ohio State University.


George J. Pogan, FACHE is a health care consultant specializing in rehabilitation and ambulatory care. He was a consultant and CEO of a major industrial rehabilitation center in Cleveland, Ohio for the Ohio Industrial Commission and Bureau of Workers Compensation and implemented the comprehensive array of rehabilitation and return to work programs at the facility. He held positions at The Ohio State University Hospitals in overall hospital management as Associate Executive Director of Hospital Operations and as Administrator of Dodd Hall, the Rehabilitation Hospital.

He was a founding member of the Accreditation Council for Ambulatory Health Care of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, served on its Standards and Survey Procedures Committee and served as a surveyor for many years.

He has been a surveyor for CARF - The Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission, for 18 years and is Team Coordinator for the survey teams. He also served on the National Advisory Council on Disability Management for CARF.

He is a Fellow of the American College in Healthcare Executives and received his masters degree in hospital and medical administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
